Our Wedding

Andrea Knopp and Brian Studebaker’s story begins the way so many good ones do: with a simple “yes.” In February 2024, mutual friends invited them to a concert at the Eagles Ballroom. Andrea’s quick decision to go set everything in motion—one night of great music that quietly became the first chapter of something lasting. Andrea, a realtor who grew up in Deerfield, Illinois, has always brought energy and heart to everything she does—whether she’s biking, running, fishing, or battling it out on the pickleball court. Brian, raised in Racine, Wisconsin, spent 35 years with Milliman as a Healthcare Technology Consultant before retiring into a life that suits him just as well: home remodeling projects, boating, fishing, and downhill skiing (with a little help from Cassie, his beloved Bernedoodle). Between them is a beautifully blended family: Andrea’s four kids—Steven, Eric, Sarah, and Bobbie—and Brian’s daughter, Brynn. Together, they’ve built a life that follows the seasons, wintering in Marco Island, Florida and spending summers in Elm Grove, Wisconsin—making home in two places, and finding joy in both. They share a love of adventure and discovery, traveling internationally to places like Rwanda and Greece. Most of all, they share a deep commitment to their Catholic faith and their relationship with God—an anchor that has guided their relationship from the start. On August 22, 2026, Andrea and Brian will celebrate the next “yes”: a joyful step forward, surrounded by family, friends, and gratitude for the journey that brought them here.

You don't need much guidiance. Just wear normal wedding attire appropriate for the weather! No jeans, flip flops or speedos! Sportcoats or better are recommended.

The Ingleside Hotel is 7 miles away from the reception and has a number of attractions including an indoor water park, sizable bar/loung area, game room free wifi adn fitness area. You can easily reseerve an Uber or carpool with friends from Chenequa Country Club! As of 4/15/2026, Prices begin at $134/night (queen nonrefundable) or $170/night (refundable). Space is limited, so we highly recommend booking early.
